Hi.
I exceeded my word limit this week. Enjoy the (relative) silence. Thank you for being here. See you next week.

Recreations of a father’s close objects, writing translations on a legal pad, so touching.
I almost didn’t notice this one. It doesn’t talk very loudly. But when I approached it, I really spoke to me.
A flat rectangular prism, the level of detail toward a the illusion of mass while not hiding the flatness. Always the question, “Why do we make the things we make?”
Christina Molina, direction, camera, and sound; Rebecca Allen ,Choreographer and Dancer; Jaeda Barrett, dancer.
I loved the choreography, realizing the body was reenacting the river and the objects on the river. The music too. I wish the room had been darker, that the curtain reached the floor.
I love this artist statement.
The dark of these photographs was so atmospheric and haunting. I felt hyper aware of the frozen moment.
I’ve also been thinking about photographs and how the encounter is different face to face, vertical or horizontal in an open book, with or without reflection, framing, setting, scale.

Again, the book versus the wall.

These are just from this week. I was thinking that listing things from previous weeks is too much.
